Welcome to our feedback page for the City's work on the Pyrmont Peninsula Place Strategy. This map shows the groups of sites in Ultimo and Pyrmont that the City has been considering in response to the Place Strategy developed by the Department of Planning and Environment (DPE). They are outlined with an orange boundary.
For each site, we have considered how to improve open space around the site and how to change the controls for floor space use, building form and height. We are in the process of refining these changes as we work towards reporting to Council for formal exhibition later this year.
We invite you to explore the map and tell us what you think about the changes we are considering for each of the site groups.
Are the changes we are proposing appropriate? Why? Why not?
Are there any other sites that we should still consider for change?
Drop a pin on any site that interests you and attach a note to let us know how you think that site could contribute to the future of Ultimo and Pyrmont.
Please note: DPE is responsible for planning on six sites including the Blackwattle Bay State Significant Precinct, The Star hotel site, Harbourside, Pyrmont Metro sites, UTS Indigenous College site on Harris Street, and the Powerhouse Museum site. These sites are shown shaded in grey on this map. We are not seeking comments on these sites.
